Ok, so, I've been gone a while, ..a loong while..
School has been a real pain, especially spanish, and this has caused me to miss a lot of blogging oppertunties. Not tha I would've taken them otherwise, but.. well... you know..
so, a lot has been going on! The Final Fantasy 13 demo is out!! (not vs yet, but that shouldn't be too far behind) I don't know what's up with the bird-in-the-hair thing.. kinda strange if you ask me.. but the graphics!!!
Spanish!! It's over!! I no longer have to study the conjugation of spanish verbs, toil away at memerizing lists of words I'll rarely, if ever, use!!
Why, you ask? Why do i no longer have to go online to do stupid quia assignments? Because I took the final test today. and it's over. now. finally. took it long enough.
anyway, now I have the time and inclination to do many things!! among them: finally continue the story of jana and feron, two charectors who've been woefully neglected over the past couple of years, I belive we left off with feron's famliy all dying.
finnaly get some real work done on SWORD, I've had this one in the oven for so long, it's not even funny anymore, I have all sorts of stuff written down here and there, now I need to get all the pieces together, and see if I can't make somthing of it.
RTFPS, this one I've only been thinking about for a short time, a pretty cool idea, if it can be put into practice. random other writings, drawings, ideas I've had laying around for who knows how long!
well, seeing as school is over,(for the day, I have one more final) I'm thinking I'm gonna go to the library, then pick up the kids from VR. oh? what's that? you didn't know Ihad my liscense? hahaa... tut, tut, don't worry about it, that's one of those things I've just not had time to write about!

A handful of earth (1st revision)
A handful of earth
A handful of soil
Can make things bloom,
But only with toil
If left alone
It grows stagnant and dry,
Nothing grows there,
Neither barley nor rye.
But if it is cared for,
If seeds are sown,
If you will help it
Along as it’s grown

Confining, and letting go at the same time, does anyone really understand that?
Moving along, we forget the search,

Flooding the mind, but not choking it.
Realism wins out in the end.

With mass graves and coffins to our flanks
No children laughing or pulling pranks
“We’re stronger apart”
There’s no one there to help us down
From the pedestals we sat on to gain renown
I guess making us the fools of the town
“Fools are so often remembered”
But with these graves at our sides
There’s no place to hide
From these feelings inside
“You can’t hide forever”

Some Speculation (on FF13!!)
Ok, I'm not one to speculate, (what am I saying? Most of what I do is speculate!)
but with Final Fantasy 13, and versus 13 coming out sometime in 2010, (actually, Dec1 and 13 respectively, if amazon is to be trusted) I can't help but uess as to what they will contain. Now note that I haven't really researced any of this, and most of it is based simply on the trailers.

First: The hero. A lot of info is already to be had about the hero of Vs. 13, and you can find a lot of info from wikipedia too.
My speculations: One, this guy's a king, but doesn't seem too proud of it. He's constantly dealing with assasins and the like, in including some sort of betrayal? (based on this pic:
this is a girl he seems to meet at a party of some sort, based on his tux.
and later when he is attacked, check the hair:
ok, you can't really see it in this still image,(check the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7f3K3WbY94 ) but the hair could be the same... she also strikes me as somthing of an older sister chatecter. just speculation...;)
Expect teleportation, wether this takes the form of a type of "zip" map (think Myst) or point and shoot I could not tell you, but it will be in there. It looks like his element is ice, both because of the ice-like sounds his swords make as they transition in and out of use, and the shavings they drop, but it's also mad fairly obvious right here:
also looks like he's part of a (resistance?) group of some kind:
These other people seem to be good friends, I'd say to look out for some betrayal from this quarter, but based on the rather straightforward nature of past final fantasy games, don't bet on it.
There is also the matter of this girl:
Looks like they know eachother to some extent, (based on his suprised reaction to seeing her) or she is someone he liked who turns out to be his enemy.
(note that his element seems to be ice, while hers seems to be flame, two incompatible elements.) I'd say look to her for the love intrest. (you know, that old cleche, forbidden love or some such thing) she also seems to show some regret at having to fight him:

I have high hopes for this game, my inability to play it once it does come out notwithstanding. I think that's what I've got for now, I'm looking forward to actually playing, or more likely, watching someone play this game..
Anyway, Square Enix's method of releasing a new trailer that tells us exactly nothing every once in a while seems to be working to the extent of drumming up hype. And from what I've seen of both games, they look to have no trouble keeping up with it.(the hype, that is)
well, that abot covers it for now, If I think of more, I'll post that too.

Canceled class....
so one of my classes, (poor, poor Logic) has been cancled.
What does this mean? Well it means that I'm now stuck here... well... till 10:10 at least. (that's the time I have to head to the bus stop. still quite a gruiling trip, I must say.)
So, what to talk about.. well, I've been getting back into blender lately. Ok, it's only techincaly "back" into, I only really looked at it a bit before. (I decided that google sketchup was much more simple.) But getting back to it I've found it to be most useful. I've not yet attempted to model a charecter in it, the best I've done is model a face so far. (and that's not quite finished.) I found some models online that Ive started riggeing too. Oh man rigging is fun! I know that sounds like he lamest statement ever, but I'm telling you, the feeling you get when you pull some "bones" around, and the model's mesh follows them? Awesome. If you have any interest in modeling whatsoever, try blender. Not only does it model, and open well over a dozen different model types(I even got it to open a model I made in sketchup, a feat wich has me highly excited) it also renders, riggs, skins, and UV maps, it also can be used as an animation tool! Like, you could feasibly create full movies with nothing but blender! Talk about awesome!
Note to the first timers: blender is NOT a beginners program! It is a highly technical instrument, and can be VERY difficult to figure out on your own. My advice? Youtube!! There are literally hundreds of tutorials for blender on youtube! Learning somthing new is never easy, and there is no shame in asking for a little help. Just youtube "blender tutorial" + whatever you are specificly having trouble with. It's that simple.
Well, I gotta go catch a bus.

Some time... and some thoughts..
You all should feel so privleged... how have I decided to use my 30+ minutes of freetime before bus time? that's right! By posting!! And updateing my manga list!!
so, now that I've actually started posting, I'm not sure what I should write.. you ever get that? that sorta.. good felling that you're typing, even if you're not typing anything of worth? Yeah, gets me every time.
On another note, I've been writeing down the Manga's that I've read, and I've realised, I've read quite a few! More than I thought definately! You know what else I've realised? I really like the Kingdom Hearts opening song! You kow, the one that runs under(or over?), the opening movie? That's a really good song! Ditto the closing, and the Opening and closing for KH II. I think they're called "simple and clean," and "Sanctuary." If you haven't heard them before(or played the game before, heven forbid!), head on over to youtube right now! Look for "KH opening song," The first one should be good. You don't even have to watch the video! Just listen to the music! I find myself going back to these two songs over and over.. thank the lord for youtube!
I figured out how to add a list! I should have the manga list populated sometime soon! (Ok, so it's not as nice as Clarience's version, but whatever... :)

Ok, so I have a few minutes..
I have a few minutes bofer I once again have to face the bitter cold, (There's more truth to that this time, it snowed this morning!) actually, it's not that bad!
I get to walk about 3 city blocks to the bust stop, and in doing so, I get my excercise, get to walk all cool like, and get to see the snow!! (It really is beautiful out there)
So I've asked clar. for the secret, and I'm hoping to hear from him soon, so I can put my own list of Manga's I've read at the side of my page! I know, it's a total rippoff. I seem to do that a lot. Rather than come up with my own Ideas, I steal other peoples and make them my own. I don't know why. Mabye I'm just lazy. No, I know I'm lazy. ...
well.. I should get back to updating...

Ok, a word on brothers
Ok, so brothers are a pain, this is an accepted fact.
What is also an accepted fact is that as I write this, my brother is looking over my shoulder and reading what I write, this explains the completely random series of notes being played on the gituar..
Oh, and sisters! Sisters are a pain too.. Ok, so it's a bit childesh to be typing this right now.. but hey, I'm only human right?
oh well.. I have to go and.. dry the dishes of all things.. and put them away.. that's my chore for the week.. fun.

A couple of minutes...
Ok, so I got a couple of minutes right now, before i have to run and catch the bus..
I had two tests today, one in Spanish, (Blehc) and one in Chemistry( BlechX10^43). I think I might have done suprisingly well on the chemistry test, but I've been so much time studying for that, that spanish was most deplorable..
I don't want to get my hopes up with regards to CHEM, but I don't think I did as bad as it looks..and it looks ok... (which means I'm gonna get like 45%)
As for spanish, I guess I just need to buckle down and do it, but buckling down has never been one of my strong suits. oh well, It's my last year anyway. That's right! I'm Graduating!! Well.. I will be.. at the end of this school semester.. but still!!
Graduation! What must it feel like to be free of the bonds of state mandated schooling? To not HAVE to go to school.. well, probobly stressfull.. oh, well, again, this too shall pass.. it came to pass, and that is what it shall do..
Now what else to talk about in the last couple of minutes before I have to get up from this comfortable chair, brave the cold(well, not so cold right now) and catch a bus heading back to the city?
Cars! Now, I've never been much of a car guy, I know the difference between a lamberguini and a roadster, but I couldn't tell you squat when trying to compare cars.. Incedentally, I (sort of) Have a toyota Camry, a sturdy car, and I've been told that they run forever, but now I need to get my liscence.. I don't know what it is that's holding me back, somthing to do with an innate sense of self awareness mabye? An innate sense that when I'm behind that wheel, I'm taking lives into my hands? Then again, I suppose I'm taking Lives into my hands whenever I pick up a knife to put it back in the drawer as well.. I guess there's just somthing. .. different. about driving a car, somthing that makes it all that much easier to take a life.. I don't know, It's just somthing to think about.
Well, I've gotta go, the cold is calling.

I had two tests today, one in Spanish, (Blehc) and one in Chemistry( BlechX10^43). I think I might have done suprisingly well on the chemistry test, but I've been so much time studying for that, that spanish was most deplorable..
I don't want to get my hopes up with regards to CHEM, but I don't think I did as bad as it looks..and it looks ok... (which means I'm gonna get like 45%)
As for spanish, I guess I just need to buckle down and do it, but buckling down has never been one of my strong suits. oh well, It's my last year anyway. That's right! I'm Graduating!! Well.. I will be.. at the end of this school semester.. but still!!
Graduation! What must it feel like to be free of the bonds of state mandated schooling? To not HAVE to go to school.. well, probobly stressfull.. oh, well, again, this too shall pass.. it came to pass, and that is what it shall do..
Now what else to talk about in the last couple of minutes before I have to get up from this comfortable chair, brave the cold(well, not so cold right now) and catch a bus heading back to the city?
Cars! Now, I've never been much of a car guy, I know the difference between a lamberguini and a roadster, but I couldn't tell you squat when trying to compare cars.. Incedentally, I (sort of) Have a toyota Camry, a sturdy car, and I've been told that they run forever, but now I need to get my liscence.. I don't know what it is that's holding me back, somthing to do with an innate sense of self awareness mabye? An innate sense that when I'm behind that wheel, I'm taking lives into my hands? Then again, I suppose I'm taking Lives into my hands whenever I pick up a knife to put it back in the drawer as well.. I guess there's just somthing. .. different. about driving a car, somthing that makes it all that much easier to take a life.. I don't know, It's just somthing to think about.
Well, I've gotta go, the cold is calling.

Ok, so long abcence..
Ok, so I've been away for a while... sorry about that, it's not even for lack of things to write about, it's just lack of.. I don't know.. intrest?
Anyway, I guess having the Library right next to my bus stop has really paid off! I've read more Manga in he past couple weeks than in the the whole month before!
Lesse.. first there was ... uhh.. yeah, and then there was.. Line, I think it was called? Some Rave master (up to book 30 now!), All of Eureka Seven(<-I highly reccommend this, especally the prolouge, "Gravity Boys & Lifting Girl"), Snow(<-Meh), Case Closed, or as it's also known, Detective Conan,(<-good mystery/detective), Legendz(<-eehh...meh.), cy-believers(<-more meh. Oh, and it's shoujo, Wtc?), and now last hope! (<-pretty good actually!) Well, i should add those to the list...
oh! I wrote a book! Well.. more likeI illustrated a story, and it's mostly crap drawing, but I think I like how it turned out! I'll add a link to it eventually, It's a valentine's day story, so I want my valentine to see it first, but after she does, I'll add a link!

mybot
I only have a little bit of time, but I've been playing around with the idea of A.I. I'm sure you know whgat it is.
ther is a site (google mybot) whre you can talk to a computer, It's not overtly obvious that it's a computer for a while, I'm thinking of preforming the "Touring Test" on someone in my household. I'm not suer how well it will work though.
I have to go catch a bus, but this A.I. stuff is really interesting, you should look inot it if you have a chance!

New Manga!
Hey all!
Me again. I've just updated my manga list agin, I'm posting the new manga that I added here, but they're now in the main post as well. Enjoy!
Eureka seven:
I picked this up from the library after reading Eureka seven I have the first three books on my shelf right now, but haven't yet opened them...;;-_- I'll get around to it, I just have more pressing things at the moment(school, for one. I'll do a full write-up of this one later.

I read this at the library, then brought it home b/c it was such a good story. I'm not sure what about it is so great, there aren't any big fights, the story is hard to follow.. it's more of a lead-in to a story than an actual story. But there's just somthing about it.. I dunno, I would reccomend it though. (WARNING!: one scene of implied nudity, but it's brief, I wouldn't worry too much about it)

I read this one a long time ago, re-read it through Comicrack this week.
It's meh. The story is ok, but it just seems sorta... old. Not particularly funny either. An ok read if you like fantasy, but it's not on my Favorites list.

Full Metal Panic, and Hayate no Gotoku
Hey all!
I've got a bit of time now, so what better to do that too.. BLOG!! (no, I'm not addicted! What could ever give you that idea???)
Ok, so I started reading/watching FMP the other day, ( I think it also was recommended by Manga Monkey and Clar. at some point) and I must say, It is a quite exclent piece of work! The charecter developement was a bit slow, and in some cases, noexistant, but the story was pretty good! I've watched up to ep 7 in the anime, and after watching all those, I downloaded all of the mange and began reading, nine books in all. It took me 'till 2 on the morning, but i finshed it! Great battle at the end, though I think the anime works a little better in that respect. (I'll be picking up in the anime where I left off, but pressing matters>>read: school<< have forced me to pause in my veiwing for the moment.)
There was one other thing, I started reading FMP at the library, and I don't thing It was the same as the manga I downloaded.. could there be.... more to read??? *insert sounds of drooling he- ok scratch that, insert sounds of..of... happy laughter here*
Speaking of anime, remember back when I started Hayte no Gotoku and got fed up with it after chapt. 3? well I have made a discovery of gigantic proportions... most of the current epesodes...are on youtube!!! you know what that means? Now watching limit!! ok, so you have to switch vids every 10 mins, working out to 33 vids per ep. but I'll take that over haveing to wait 45mins to finish an ep that I'm half way through! (Curse you megaupload!!) I've even found that it's not such bad quality! (sure there's a lot of pixelation, but c'mon, it's youtube! it least it doesn't have that home video feel...)
well, anyway that's most of what I'm excited about. Oh! I missed a day of school.. I spent a little too much time in the library.. (Mom asked me to drop some stuff off for her, the library being right next to my bus stop and all)
I didn't allow quite enough time for escape.. (ok, I didn't expect my card to not go through.. sue me.) and I missed the bus by about 15 seconds.. it reall stunk. Buuutt because of that I was able to spend a lot of time n the library read-I mean studying! I found an older manga that is pretty good, I'll prbly add it to the list.. oh! the list! I never did finsh it did I? and now I have more series to add to it.. :(... oh well! The more the merrier I always say! (Ok, I don't always say that, heck, I never say that!)
ok, I think that's all i have to say.. this is getting a bit long as is..
one or two other things, I went back to R+V and realised I've read all of season one, not just most of it like I thought. and now I realise I've read most of season 2 as well.. ok so I'm cought up to it's current postion on Mangafox, what can I say? I started it, now I want to finish it. It's part of my molecular structure... I think...(I really do have a bad habit of finishing books that I start, I should get that looked at.)
ok, I really am done this time, I promise..
op- just one more! I downloaded Comicrack, and I really like it, it's easy to make(compile) your own manga too..
sorry that this thing is sooo darn long, I had a bit of time before class starts... like, 3 hours....

Hayate no Gotoku, and FF8
Well, me again, (not like you'd hear from anyone else here)
I really have to thank my good friend MangaMonkey, He recently introduced me to Hayate no Gotoku, a Hilarous Manga by Hata Kenjiro. I- I think I've become addicted... I've even drawn some Fanart! (mostly of Maria-san, I might put some up later)
Another thing I've been drawing latly is Dragons. I'm not sure why. It might have somthing to do with "Dragon Drive," another manga I've recently read. (I might put some of that art up somtime too) It might also have somthing to do with foam..
Allow me to explain; this Christmas our family invited a lot of relitives over, and one of the (many) activitys that we did was a florists-foam carving. When I heard that, I knew exactly what I wanted to create, I drew a quick sketch of a dragon and away I went. (I should post a pic of that too)
Anyway, after Christmas I unfortunately spray-painted over my drawing. (I got an airbrush for Christmas) Oh well.. I suppose I'll live..

I know it's a fairly large deviation from whatever I was just talking about, but this move is really quite good! I know it's pretty far over on the "romantic" side, but if you've played FF8 it makes sense. I hadn't heard this song with lyrics before either, not sure how I feel about these..

About 5mins
I have about five mins untill I have to go to catch the bus out of ths place, (this place being college) so this'll be quick.
I've started reading/watching Hayte no Gotoku, and I have one word: Hilarious!
This is really one of the funniest anime/manga I've ever watched/read!
I am slashing my watched/read because I have come to a conclusion: my internet stinks.
as such, I acn only watch about five mins of a show before it starts buffering again.. so I've decided to read the manga instead, and watch the anime when I'm in a more patient mood..
Let me explain to you why I stated this anime.. I have a friend.. and this friend has a cousin.. and this cousin watches anime.. add in the grapevine and there you go!
ok so as blog posts go, this one is pretty lame.. but hey! I've got no subscribers so it's all good! no one to complain! and THAT's what I like to hear.
I've ridden on the metro transit more in the last day and a half than I have in most of the rest of my life combined! which is to say, twice. no, I'm not much of a bus-rider, I know. but I should have my license by the end of next week, and that will be much cheaper than metro-trans! (it costs $3 just to go to school in the morning!!) I'm going broke here! (ok, mom is paying for it ou of dad's coin jar, even so, something's going broke..)
No school on monday~!~!!! this is probably the best development in my week so far, being that this is the first week of school. I have no idea how I'm gonna- dang, gotta go!

Trubute to Clarience ( Manga List )
In the spirit of http://animeandmangarule.blogspot.com/2009/01/clarience-list-of-shows-that-i-am.html I am compiling a list of Manga that I have read, (If Clarince has already covered it, I wont comment on it other than to say I have read it, I don't wan't to steal his thunder)
I've only been reading for a couple years, an i've watched exactly nothing by way of anime, so this should be a short list. (I'm adding a short section at the bottom for online webcomics, I've been reading those lately too)
So, from the top:
Astro Boy:
I think I finshed this one, but it didn't have a specific ending.
A classic, or perhaps the original, robot-fighting-robot manga.
Air: fin.
It's been a while since I read this one, I remember it as somthing of sad story, but still worth reading.

Ai Love You:
I've read books 3,4,5,6,7, 8 is the last one, I'm currently trying to find 1 and 2.
This is a story by Ken Akamatsu, (you've probably heard of him, he also wrote Love Hina, Mahou Sensi Negima, and others) and, overall, it's pretty funny, but as expected from Akamatsu, it's also a romance. It has it's touching moments, and a lot of humorous ones, but it also has some nudity, not grapic, but still, nudity. A sad way to ruin an otherwise good story.
Bleach:
This one I've started, but as I prefer paper copies of books, I havn't gotten farther than book 5. (and 7, I keep getting that one by mistake. stupid font!)
good so far though.
Cardcaptor Sakura: fin.
A girl opens an old bok in her father's library, releasing the clow cards, magical cards created by the worlds most powerful magician, Clow Reed. With the help of the card's gaurdian, Cerberus, it is her responsibility to return the cards to the book. but she not the only one looking for them.
This is one of the first manga CLAMP did, an almost instant hit, you can still find CS paraphinallia at almost any anime store. (a handfull of the charectors also appear in other works by CLAMP)
Canidate for Goddess: pending completion
This is a fairly good manga about a boy who wants to pilot a "goddess," the protectors of humankind.
This one I just randomly picked up off the library shelf and got hooked. I have this thing for robots you see...
Clannad: fin.
Clarience reviewed this one, check his site.
Confidential Confessions: I opened the book once. Then I closed it. end of story. (my friend told me tjust the cover gave her nightmares)
DNAngel: pending completion
Another book that I found at the library, this series has about 13 books, and (hopefully) more on the way.
Dragon Drive:
Yet another that I picked up at the library, this manga is pretty good from what I've read so far, we'll see if it turns out ok.

This is a series of one-shot episodes about a man who can eat anything. and then turn it into a weapon. :) at least, it started out that way. it then slowly changed into a manga with chapters leading to other chapters and so on and so forth. WARNING!!: This started out as a good manga, It really did! then somthing went wrong, and now it's all screwy. There are occasional chapters with lots of nudity after about chapt.20. (that ios not a certain number, that's an estimate, please be careful)

I started reading this on recommendation from various scources, and what do you know they were right! I think clarience covered this one, check his site.
Full Metal Panic: Manga: fin. Anime: pending
I think clar. Covered this on. It really is good though. I have all nine books on my HDD. (Yay Comicrack!!)

A sort of prologue/expansion of the Full Metal Panic! story, this is just a series of encounters not in the original manga, oh, and it's done mostly in chibi. I liked this one almost as much as the full manga, it's just as, if not more, funny than the original.
Fushigi Yuugi: fin.
This was one of the first Manga I read, along with Inu Yasha and Ranma 1/2. My sister used to hide it in her room, through the natural process of snooping, I found it. heh. Overall this is pretty good, for a shoujo manga.
Gamerz Heaven: Pending completion?
Library. I've only read one or two books from the series but from what I've read so far it's ok.
Inu Yasha: fin. ( ithink?)
This one I'm sure you've at least heard of, girl falls down well, climbs back up in diffrent world, befriends demon, has to get some sort of gem, fights lots of stuff, blah blah blah .. Really a good Manga, solid story, good charectors, great action. one note though: mild nudity on some demons, guess it's a side effect of being evil.

Ok, so this wasn't as good as it looked...not nearly.. the premise was good, avrage kid gets super-powered suit, has to choose, does he become a good guy, or a bad guy? Unfortunately he decides to do whatever he wants, leading to buttloads of crap happening.. and not in a good way. I wouldn't reccomend this to anyone, which stinks, 'cause it could have been really good..
Living Game: fin.
A very funny manga, romantic comedy, well balanced between serious and funny, makes some point about finding your dream or somthing. (Warning!!: there is some nudity in this one! but not 'till near the end)

Love Hina: fin.
This was a pretty good manga actually, regardless of it's straight-up love storyness,(is that a word? Storyness?) It's pretty funny, but a wraning!: There is nudity in this Manga, not grapic, but nudity none the less. you have been warned.... this is another Akamatsu manga, I think clar. mentioned it.
Masion Ikkoku: fin.
This one is another romantic comedy, heavy on the comedy this time, until the later chapters.
Warning: there is some nudity in this manga, also some sexual innuendo near the end, if you don't mind skipping some of the end, and don't have too big a problem with happy endings, this is an ok read.
Magic Knight Rayearth: fin.
An excelent Manga by CLAMP, MNRayearth is the story of three girls who get sucked into another world, as Magic Knights, they must rescue a princess who was taken captive. did I mention it's funny?
This is a power-of-friendship/power-of-love Manga, but still an enjoyable read.
Maohu Sensi Negima!: in progress
By the same author as Love Hina(Akamatsu again), this Manga centers around a young genius-mage made schoolteacher, and his thirty female students. Somewhat comedy-herem(light on the herem, but some chapt.s of fanservice), this manga follows Negi in his search for his father, and the completeion of his training as a mage. This is actually a pretty good story, herem-ness aside. I would recommend this Manga, but be warned, there is some partial-nudity.

I don't know how I forgot this one, 's pretty good, check Clarience's list, I think he's more up-to date.
No Need for Tenchi: fin.
This one is about a boy who accedently awakens a space pirate who's been frozen near his house for 200 years. After that, well, he finds out he's actually the prince of another planet, and wacky hijinks follow. This manga is mostly comedy, with a power-of-friendship message.
Neon Genisis Evangilion: fin. (WTFruit?!!?)
A boy is called on by his estranged father to pilot a giant robot destined to save the world. This kid is one of those depressed loner types, but eventually warms up to other people through some new friends. this Manga os very good up to about book 4. after that it's better to just leave it be. The guy who made this manga must have gotten severly depressed after finishing book 4, because it's almost as if it's a completely diferent auther!! The ending is also really depressing.
I would recommend reading up t book 4 (or which ever ends with the moon(no, that's not a spioler) and then imagineing that the world is saved and everybody is good.
One Piece:
This one Clarience covers. Check his post. (it's really good though!!!)
Ranma 1/2: fin.
Martial arts master kid goes to china to train, falls in "pool of drowned girl," now every time he gets wet in (hot? Cold?) water he changes into a girl. Father fell in "pool of drowned panda," so on and so forth. If not for the occasional nudity I would recommend this Manga to anyone! It is incredibly funny, and just get's funnier the longer it goes. Lot's of action and fighting, and plot that twists, but only enough for you to not see what's around the next bend. Well worth reading if you don't mind skipping some parts.

Rave Master: book 29, looking for the last one.
This is one of the good ones I picked up at the library, it follows the story of a boy who sets out to find rave, and distory Demon card with it. He ends up with far more than he bargined for!
An excellent Manga, this is one I would recommend if you like Naruto or One Piece.
Shaman King:
Shaman king I another one I picked up at the library, but thing's started to get a little weird for my taste after book 9 or so.. It's ok overall, just not for me. check it out if you don't mind some creepy stuff.
Tsubasa Resivour Chronicle: pending completion
This is one of CLAMP's most recent projects, in conjunction with xxxholic. It picks up some of CLAMP's most loved charecters and pushed them into their most ambitious story yet. woah! that sounded like it came right off the back cover! (no, it didn't)
This really is an excellent read, the art is incredible, the story supurb, the charectors well-developed, the humor top-notch, and the plot twists just enough to keep you on your toes. If you haven't picked this up already, now is the time!
train_man: fun.
This is a love story about an otaku who stops a drunk on a train from harrassing a nearby girl. She sends him a gift as thanks, and he asks for help and advice from an internet forum.
I just got this from the library, it's ok, for a romance story. It has some funny moments, but it's pretty much straightforward love. (ughh, I'm getting sick of this warning) [WARNING!: ther is some implied nudity in one or two of the chapter title pages. Not too bad, everything is covered, but just be aware.)
Trigun: fin. (continues in Trigun magnum)
This is one that can be somewhat confusing, but is still a good read.
Trigun Maximum:
It's on my to-do list, sue me. I have the first 6 or so chapt.s in comicrack. I'll have to post on this later too.
Video Girl Ai: fin.
Ok. let's not go there. Romance is the name of the game for this one. Basicly, guy strikes out with girl(NO! can't get a date! NOT that other thing you're thinking! Bad!), Magic store appears, gives video to guy to cheer him up, video is actually girl to help him get other girl, guy falls in love with video girl... blah blah blah blah blah.. you get the picture, if this is your cup of tea, go for it. but one warning: there are few action sequences in this manga, no big fights, just straight-up romance and a bit of humor. ( and strife)
Warriors of Tao: fin.
This is a bloodbath. there are practicly no redeeming qualitys to this Manga. Unless you count Gratuitous violence a redeeming quality. this is an excuse to draw blood disgused as a romance Manga, twisted as that seems. I would not recommend this manga to anyone, ever. Oh, did I mention thaey stick nudity in there too?
xxxholic: pending compltion.
Alright, this one is covered by clarience, but I just want to say that it's really an excellent story. alright, I've said it. Now go read clarience's post!
Yu Yu Hakusho: pending.. me getting my act together.. or mabye i've finshed it?
I quite honestly can not remember whether or not I've finshed this one, guess it's not much of an ending if I did... This is a highly bloody romantic comedy, this is also the only Manga I've ever read in which the main charector dies in the first chapter. It's worth reading, if only to find out what the heck I'm talking about!

this is a handful of comics and webcomics that I've been reading, not all of the highest quality, but what they lack in art quality they often make up for in humor. (in case you havent noticed: I like funny stories)
Applegeeks 2.0: Pending completion
Excelent webcomic, has a loose storyline with some segments of very consistant story, great art, and all in color! Some language issues though. (Swearing, not mispronunceation)
Bone: This is not a webcomic, but your classic comicbook, really good story, and funny too!
LFG(Looking for Group): Pending completion
A very funny webcomic, if a bit gory at times.
Mac Hall: fin.
Pretty standard webcomic, 'cept it's in color, the art is good, and it has a full page format.

Megatokyo: Pending completion (hopefully not for a looong time)
Two American gamers go to japan, spend all their money, and are stranded. Mix in a robot playstation accsory, a retired seyu and her roomate, a hamster for a consience, various schoolgirls, magical girls, L337 Ninjas, rent-a-zillas, and otaku, two enforcement agents, Shirt Guy Dom stick figure art, dead piro days, and a tokyo-worth of zombies, and you have Megatokyo. Did I mention the pencil-sketch style art? This is hands-down required reading for any manga fan, shirt guy dom strips are optional.

Sluggy Freelance: Pending Completion
This is what I have been reading for the past couple of weeks, the story is akin to classic comics, with each new "chapter" simply another story in the sequence of events. This really is very funny and I would recommend it if you can find the time.
I've only been reading for a couple years, an i've watched exactly nothing by way of anime, so this should be a short list. (I'm adding a short section at the bottom for online webcomics, I've been reading those lately too)
So, from the top:
Astro Boy:
I think I finshed this one, but it didn't have a specific ending.
A classic, or perhaps the original, robot-fighting-robot manga.
Air: fin.
It's been a while since I read this one, I remember it as somthing of sad story, but still worth reading.

Ai Love You:
I've read books 3,4,5,6,7, 8 is the last one, I'm currently trying to find 1 and 2.
This is a story by Ken Akamatsu, (you've probably heard of him, he also wrote Love Hina, Mahou Sensi Negima, and others) and, overall, it's pretty funny, but as expected from Akamatsu, it's also a romance. It has it's touching moments, and a lot of humorous ones, but it also has some nudity, not grapic, but still, nudity. A sad way to ruin an otherwise good story.
Bleach:
This one I've started, but as I prefer paper copies of books, I havn't gotten farther than book 5. (and 7, I keep getting that one by mistake. stupid font!)
good so far though.
Cardcaptor Sakura: fin.
A girl opens an old bok in her father's library, releasing the clow cards, magical cards created by the worlds most powerful magician, Clow Reed. With the help of the card's gaurdian, Cerberus, it is her responsibility to return the cards to the book. but she not the only one looking for them.
This is one of the first manga CLAMP did, an almost instant hit, you can still find CS paraphinallia at almost any anime store. (a handfull of the charectors also appear in other works by CLAMP)
Canidate for Goddess: pending completion
This is a fairly good manga about a boy who wants to pilot a "goddess," the protectors of humankind.
This one I just randomly picked up off the library shelf and got hooked. I have this thing for robots you see...
Clannad: fin.

Confidential Confessions: I opened the book once. Then I closed it. end of story. (my friend told me tjust the cover gave her nightmares)
DNAngel: pending completion
Another book that I found at the library, this series has about 13 books, and (hopefully) more on the way.
Dragon Drive:
Yet another that I picked up at the library, this manga is pretty good from what I've read so far, we'll see if it turns out ok.

This is a series of one-shot episodes about a man who can eat anything. and then turn it into a weapon. :) at least, it started out that way. it then slowly changed into a manga with chapters leading to other chapters and so on and so forth. WARNING!!: This started out as a good manga, It really did! then somthing went wrong, and now it's all screwy. There are occasional chapters with lots of nudity after about chapt.20. (that ios not a certain number, that's an estimate, please be careful)
Escaflowne: fin.
A girl is brought to another world where she discovers she holds the "Key" to a god-like power. Oh, and there's a prince too.
I read this one a long time ago, re-read it through Comicrack this week.
It's meh. The story is ok, but it just seems sorta... old. Not particularly funny either. An ok read if you like fantasy, but it's not on my Favorites list.
Eureka seven
I read this at the library, then brought it home b/c it was such a good story. I'm not sure what about it is so great, there aren't any big fights, the story is hard to follow.. it's more of a lead-in to a story than an actual story. But there's just somthing about it.. I dunno, I would reccomend it though. (WARNING!: one scene of implied nudity, but it's brief, I wouldn't worry too much about it)

I started reading this on recommendation from various scources, and what do you know they were right! I think clarience covered this one, check his site.
Full Metal Panic: Manga: fin. Anime: pending
I think clar. Covered this on. It really is good though. I have all nine books on my HDD. (Yay Comicrack!!)

Full Metal Panic!:Overdrive!: Manga: fin.
A sort of prologue/expansion of the Full Metal Panic! story, this is just a series of encounters not in the original manga, oh, and it's done mostly in chibi. I liked this one almost as much as the full manga, it's just as, if not more, funny than the original.
Fushigi Yuugi: fin.
This was one of the first Manga I read, along with Inu Yasha and Ranma 1/2. My sister used to hide it in her room, through the natural process of snooping, I found it. heh. Overall this is pretty good, for a shoujo manga.
Gamerz Heaven: Pending completion?
Library. I've only read one or two books from the series but from what I've read so far it's ok.
Inu Yasha: fin. ( ithink?)
This one I'm sure you've at least heard of, girl falls down well, climbs back up in diffrent world, befriends demon, has to get some sort of gem, fights lots of stuff, blah blah blah .. Really a good Manga, solid story, good charectors, great action. one note though: mild nudity on some demons, guess it's a side effect of being evil.

Ok, so this wasn't as good as it looked...not nearly.. the premise was good, avrage kid gets super-powered suit, has to choose, does he become a good guy, or a bad guy? Unfortunately he decides to do whatever he wants, leading to buttloads of crap happening.. and not in a good way. I wouldn't reccomend this to anyone, which stinks, 'cause it could have been really good..
Living Game: fin.
A very funny manga, romantic comedy, well balanced between serious and funny, makes some point about finding your dream or somthing. (Warning!!: there is some nudity in this one! but not 'till near the end)

This was a pretty good manga actually, regardless of it's straight-up love storyness,(is that a word? Storyness?) P.S.One last thing I have to say, I really like this save every 2mins thing google has set up, I was interuppted in the middle of writing this by the fire alarm going of here at school. I closed out of the page and went to leave. When I came back (it turned out to be a false alarm), all I had to do was go to edit blog post, and there it was!! :)
School gaps and clever Saps..(I'm the clever sap:)
Ok, so this post has very little to do with the title... I just thought it rhymed...for the most part..
I do have a school gap though, I just finshed my spanish class, and my next class isn't untill 2:00.
I guess it's safe to say I have some free time...
Unfortunately this computer is so locked down Ican't even put GIMP on it, which means I can't edit photos in anything but MS Paint. Not exactly my favorite program. I'll make do somehow though, and I might be able to convince one of the IT staff to install it for me.. Hmm..
In other news the road to school was terrible today, we saw almost 20 vehicles in the ditch on both sides of the road!! It's kinda strange, but makes sense if you think about it, it looks like a beautiful day, sun shining, no wind, the problem is that it's 17 degrees outside, below zero.
It seems that black ice has formed all over the roads, and when people try to change lanes, they lose control of their vehicles, overcompensate, and end up in the ditch.
We saw one woman spin out, it created a wall of snow over 20 feet tall! At least, it looked like 20 feet.
One last thing, I'm thinking of creating a short Manga, not sure yet what it would be about, but I have some ideas floating around up there...

I'm new here, please don't bite...
Hey all!
I'm new to blogging in general, I've tried a bit before, but not nearly enough to count..
I'm hoping to start this blog as a way to simply share my thought on things, and possibly to bounce ideas around at some point in the future..
so I guess I should start with a bit about me..
My name is Feron, I'm 18 years old and will turn 19 in April,
I enjoy Reading, Drawing and Writing(to a certan extent)
I enjoy Christian music and am not a fan of anything over 80 decibles, or that contains foul language.
I don't have a job, but am looking, and may have somthing lined up with a library to set up their new computer system.
I graduate this year, and am thinking of amjoring in game design at a game developement college.
That pretty much sums it up for my life at this point, I'll post more later.
